Dear HSPC Supporter,

Though the Pandemic has halted our in-person party again this year, our passion for rescue continues and this is a year to commemorate! Our theme is “It’s about the Journey.”  This November we will celebrate not only the 30th Annual Reigning Cats and Dogs, but our 75th Year of Operation!  The event will be a virtual fundraiser beginning on Facebook November 1 with pictures, videos, and etc. chronicling highlights of our history as well as where we are today. You can expect some surprises and, of course, our traditional Red Carpet event featuring a few of our adoptable pets. A week-long online auction will follow beginning November 6. Though again we will miss our annual party with friends, we want you to stay safe at home and enjoy our new addition of a complimentary champagne or non-alcoholic party basket!

Whether you have been a faithful past sponsor or are someone new with a special place in your heart for rescues, we are requesting you consider a sponsorship for this event to help the animals at the Humane Society. Though our sponsorship opportunities may look different this year, our work and needs remain the same. Rufus, transferred to us from an animal control facility a little over a year ago with significant hair loss and red itchy skin. All of the typical causes were checked off and our veterinary staff began their detective work to finally discover that he was suffering from an autoimmune disease which could be controlled with medication. A few months ago he was in total remission and went home with a couple who adored him and were totally committed to a dog with special needs. 

At HSPC this special medical fund supports:

•  Critical animals in our shelter that require care after hours at other facilities
• Animals that need specialty surgery for orthopedic and complex internal issues
• Diagnostic testing and professional consultations beyond the scope of shelter resources
• Treatment for life-threatening illnesses such as Heartworm Disease
• Funding our new Parvo Isolation and Treatment Room

Sponsorship is also a wonderful way for you to promote your business while showing that you are a company or individual that cares about creating a more humane community for pets and people alike.  Depending on your level of support, you can take advantage of event publicity, including promotion to our almost 60,000 social media followers. All sponsorships of $1,000 or more will include space to promote your business, or your pets if you prefer, in our 2022 HSPC wall calendar.

You may also choose to make a donation to our online auction. You donation of a new auction item or service will go a long way toward the success of the evening and to the Emergency Medical Fund that provides treatment for hundreds of animals. All donations are tax deductible as allowed by law, and this is a wonderful way to promote your business, products, and services. All donations valued at $150 or more will receive a 2022 Humane Society of Pulaski County Wall Calendar as a thanks for your support of our animals!
