In-Shelter Volunteer
Most of our volunteers want to work in shelter, which allows you to enjoy our animals and help to enrich their lives in our cat room or in the dog park. Hands-on programs include walking, grooming, socializing, manners training, and sometimes cleaning. Other hands-on opportunities involve taking dogs to off-site adoption events, to festivals and fundraisers and to nursing homes through our Puppy Love program. Volunteers are also needed to help transport animals to media appearances and vet appointments.
WARNING! Providing love to a shelter dog or cat is addictive… but in a good way. Make a difference in your life, and the life of an animal, by volunteering.
