Surrendering Your Pet

If you haven’t reviewed Alternatives to Surrendering Your Pet yet, please do so.  Rehoming or making adjustments in your lifestyle to keep your pet should always be your first option.

Please note that there is NO guarantee that we will be able to take your pet. We will reach out to you if and when we can. There are also other Arkansas resources at warmhearts.org/help.

** Please note that there is a $25 Surrender Fee for owned pets and a $15 Surrender Fee for stray animals for pets surrendered to the Humane Society of Pulaski County **

  • Donations are greatly needed and most appreciated. HSPC is a non-profit, receives no government funding and relies on donations.
  • Pets are accepted on a space available basis only (as determined by staff). There is no guarantee your pet will be chosen.
  • You will be called to bring your pet to HSPC once staff determines that your pet can be accommodated. This may take several weeks in some cases. If the pet has been spayed/neutered, please make every effort to rehome. Let us know by emailing info@warmhearts.org if your pet has been rehomed so we can remove you from the list.
