Lost & Found
IF YOU HAVE A LOST OR FOUND DOG OR CAT… email info@warmhearts.org with a description and way to contact, and we will post it for you. Please let us know when it has been reunited with it’s family.
NOTE: If you are listing a “found” dog, please ask any responders to identify the dog…gender, collar, any identifying characteristics (crooked tail, one blue eye, etc). Ask the pet’s name and see if it responds. There are people out there who will claim a found dog…for reasons that are not good!

Found approx. 6:30 pm on 12/11/11 in the Timber Ridge subdivision. Small (20 lbs. or so) white, curly, fluffy male dog. Wearing collar and leash, no tags. He’s being cared for in my home. Please call Tess Speigel at (501) 565-8311 with detailed description. Last Tuesday evening, Camp Robinson Police Department picked up a
3-legged Lab mix from one of the ranges on the installation. This is a
special young dog who is very healthy and has been well taken care of.
I’m not sure if he was born with a deformity or if the leg was
surgically removed but there is no apparent scarring or scar tissue
and he appears to be well adjusted to having only 3 legs. Because of
his condition, we thought it may be possible that someone would be
looking for him so my husband brought him to our home to stay. It
snowed that evening and we wanted to make sure that he was safe and
warm through the night. We have come to realize that this dog is
accustomed to staying indoors and probably comes from a home with more
than one dog. We have 4 other dogs and he gets along well with them
all. However, we also have a cat indoors that we are having to keep
hidden from him. He is housebroken and has not been neutered. We had
him scanned by the North Little Rock Animal Shelter but he is not
chipped. He is very loving, affectionate and playful. He is missing
his left front leg but is capable of running, playing with the big
dogs and escaping a 4 foot chain linked fence. He doesn’t like being
left alone and when my husband leaves the house, he paces and cries.
He is black with a white blaze down this throat and abdomen. He also
has white tips on his feet. I would say he is probably about a year
old. He has very clean teeth and healthy gums. I would like to reunite
this dog with his family or with another family who will love him and
not put him outside like a yard dog. I am a dog lover and would love
to keep him and take care of him but I already have 4 other dogs and a
cat and feel that I may not be capable of caring for him in the way
that he should be cared for. If you know of anyone who has lost this
dog or who may be interested in caring for this dog, please contact
me.

My friend’s mother, Lillian Sisson, was killed by an intruder on Tuesday, November 15th just off Chicot Road. Ms. Lillian’s daughters have not seen the dog since November 15.
Lucy is a 2 year old spayed black and tan Miniature Pinscher with docked tail and uncropped ears. Lucy may still be wearing a collar. She was a little overweight at the time she went missing. I know Lucy’s mom would want to make sure that Lucy was safe and in good hands.
