There is a new low-cost spay/neuter and vaccination clinic located in Little Rock!!

No income or residency restrictions to take advantage of these services. lost Yorkie, Sophie. She was lost sometime between 1:30pm & 5:00pm on Saturday May 21, 2011 in the Heights/ Cammack area near Pine Valley Rd. The yard men left her back gate open during this time and she ran off. She is a 3 year old spayed female Yorkshire Terrier with blue & gold (black & tan) coat. She is very friendly and we are hoping someone picked her up since there were many people outside in the neighborhood when she ran off.

I found a little dog running down Green Road in Little Rock Friday night and stopped to pick her up. This poor girl was dirty and frightened to death dodging the passing cars. However after getting her home and bathing her she looks like she was being cared for, I just wondered if she got lost in the storms Thursday. I was wondering if you could send this out to everyone on your contact list to see if someone knows where this little girl belongs. She’s a yorkie/terrier mix and about 4 or 5 lbs. Tiny, tiny. I have pictures if anyone thinks they know that I can send. I’m also going to put her on Facebook when I get a chance to download the pics of her. I have one I will attach here. If anyone thinks they know this pup or know who does own her they can contact me. I took her to my vet this morning and she doesn’t have a chip and there was no collar on her so I left her there for the day for them to check her out and make sure she’s ok but I would love to reunite her with her family. My name is Gwen Mays and I have a lost dog to report. My pure-bred Boston Terrier, Jazzy, got out of our backyard on Tuesday, January 04, 2011, and we have not been able to find her. She’s been seen and I believe someone has been taking care of her during the last week. She is 1 year, 3 months old. She weighs about 12 pounds. Her head is marked like a regular Boston Terrier; however, her body is predominantly white with some black markings. She has a spay scar on her belly. She broke her collar, so she does not have her tags on her and she is not micro-chipped. She is very friendly and somewhat hyper. My cat Cleo is missing. She has a purple collar on. I live at

He was lost on 10/14 from the yard at 212 S. Hampton in Conway. His name is Champ. Unfortunately, I didn’t have his tag on, he has a collar and a microchip.

He is really scared of people, I was just gaining his trust but had to leave him with my sister for a couple of days. He was in a soft crate and managed to unzip it and go out my sister’s doggie door. We cannot figure out how he got out through her fence, but he was in a panic and probably injured himself escaping.

I have called all the vet’s in Conway and the city shelter. I spent 2 days canvassing the neighborhood and leaving my # with folks. Several people said they saw him on the trails adjacent to this neighborhood.

I’ve found a tag-less white, male, dog with some tan spots near Landmark Cir. He’s got identifiable characteristics the true owners can use to get him back. He’s probably 1 or 1-and-a-half years old. He’s very energetic and loving. Apparently he had a collar on, because the impression is still in his fur, but it was missing when he was found. I have three dogs of my own and though this guy is great, I can only hold him for another week and then I will have to give him up to a shelter or foster him for adoption. Please help us find our 10 lb white rat terrier with a black head, with brown around her muzzle and eyes, and she has a black spot just before her cropped 2″ tale.

She went out to potty Monday, Sept. 13, at about 5:30 a.m. and from the barking and noise we could hear, we believe she chased a deer out of the yard and got lost. Since she did not come home, we believe someone picked her up, as she always stayed very close to us all day long and took every step we did. She was wearing a collar and tag with our information on it when she disappeared from the corner of Nichols Loop and Garrison in west Little Rock near Ferndale.

She has epilepsy and needs her medication.

We are heartbroken that she is gone, and we are offering a $200 reward.

I wanted to contact you first before I call animal control…actually I really don’t know what the right procedure is.

A large dog has been hanging around my neighborhood, and quite a bit under the bushes around my house. I noticed him for the first time on Sunday, and have seen him every day since, and again this evening. I think he may have actually been hanging around longer than this since I noticed little dug-out areas under some of my bushes a week or two ago.

He has no collar. He is male. He won’t let you get close to him. When you try to get closer he does not growl but he does walk away. He looks like a shepherd mix. Call 221-1171 and leave a message if you know this dog.

Last week while visiting my daughter off Chicot Road (17800 block) in

Little Rock my Pomeranian. Roscoe, managed to skimmy through a hole in

the fence and I haven’t seen him since. I live in Oklahoma however I

did post signs asking if anyone had seen him and offering a reward. I

can’t tell you how heartbroke I am. I haven’t stopped crying. Has

anyone dropped an 11 lb cream colored pom off there or called about

one? I am desperate and would return immediately if he has been seen

or rescued. I fear the worse and pray that he is all right. Is there

any numbers I need to call to see if animal rescue has him? I am lost.

for about two years, escaped from Hillcrest Animal Hospital at 2900

I recently adopted a chihuahua (lx 18) from HSPC. He was lost just

outside of Ward Ar, while I was out fishing on Sun July 11th. My

7/9 Found, two weeks ago, a light tan and white, small,neutered male dog, is housebroken arrived on our property. He looks like a Lhaso Ahso (sp) or shitzu mix. He is very friendly, gets along with other dogs, tolerates my cats, and loves my grandchild. I gave him a bath and brushed him out. He was shaved in a lion cut when he arrived. I have looked for signs, but there are none. I will put out signs tomorrow. The dog is wearing a “guardian” electric collar. The dog is well behaved, but has no hunting skills. However, the dog does not jump and sits on command. The dog smells cleaner than my dog, and my dog is clean. You can tell that the dog never sleeps outside. Her winter coat is much thinner than outdoor labs. I don’t mind keeping the dog for a few days in my garage. Isn’t that better than letting the dog wander in the dark?
